Another trip I made in November was going to Minoh. MInoh has a little trail surrounded by shops, an onsen and a lot of trees. Since it the leaves’ color were changing, it was one of the places I wanted to visit. The walk itself took around 20-30 minutes and It was a beautiful day out, so it was perfect. I had the pleasure of tasting Minoh’s beer—the only crafted beer in Osaka. It was really good and that’s saying something because I hate dark beer.
Here are some pictures of the walk:
At the end of the walk, you are welcomed by a nice waterfall:
We ate lunch and headed back. On the way back I noticed a ridiculous dog wearing jeans and suspenders. This shit is an everyday occurrence in Japan, and yet I still get surprised every time I see a dog wearing some sort of silly outfit. Poor doggies:
While looking at the Minoh map, we noticed that the first Mr. Donut was built by the station. Mr. Donut is Japan’s Dunkin Donuts/Krispy Kreme. I think Mr. Donut has a lot more variety in donuts compared to American donut places and they are dirt cheap. Most go from 100-200 yen. Some people are really addicted to Mr. Donut—luckily I am not one of them. It was hilarious though how excited we were to see the first Mr. Donut; I would even say some considered that the highlight of the trip (sad, I know):
On the way back, the sun was setting once again. I took a picture while on the train, it was really pretty:
