To Nagoya: Around the city and Nagoya Castle

After visiting the museum and Inuyama castle, it was already dark.  We needed to rest for awhile and get that great dinner we had been talking about so we decided to try out those famous chicken wings that Nagoya is famous for.  Let me tell you, they did not disappoint.  They were so good and addicting that it trumped over the miso tonkatsu dish that came along with it.

Yummy.

After dinner we decided to check out Nagoya Tower.  Compared to Sapporo Tower , the interior was a lot nicer.  The view was great too.  I love checking out the city at night so it was a perfect, relaxing way to conclude the evening.

We walked around for a little bit afterwards before we finally crashed.

The next morning we woke up early to check out Nagoya Castle before I had to leave and get ready for my birthday party in Osaka.  Nagoya Castle was surprisingly nice, the interior had a nice little museum about the place and it also has a great garden which had the fall leaves at its peak.

All in all I had a nice time in Nagoya.  Some people call it a tacky city but I found it to be a nice little city to visit.  I didn’t get a chance to visit everything so I plan on doing that next time.
